I grew up staring at the stars through a small window and a borrowed telescope, dreaming of a universe that felt endlessly beautiful and kind, until war and displacement took away my home, my education, and my freedom to dream. However, it couldn’t take my curiosity, so when books disappeared, I learned online, and when schools failed, I taught myself and others. Through writing, teaching, volunteering, and studying astrophysics independently, I kept reaching for the stars, even when life and circumstances pulled me back to the ground. Today, I am still in Lebanon and waiting for the chance to attend university, but I am not standing still. I am learning, building, and believing that one day, I will look through a telescope again, knowing the journey was worth it.
