Syrian, from Homs; seeking Undergraduate degree in Business finance and is enrolled at Lebanese International University.
My name is Noha Hsian, a- 22-year old, born in Homs, Syria. Education has been my greatest passion from a very young age, shaping my determination to be responsible and make a positive impact. Throughout my studies, I participated in many activities and volunteer work, gaining experience, resilience, and a deep sense of purpose.
My journey has not been easy. The war in Syria disrupted our lives, forcing my family to leave our home and face unimaginable hardships. I also lost loved ones, leaving a lasting pain in my heart. Yet, I chose hope over despair, staying committed to my education and proving that resilience and determination can overcome even the harshest challenges.
Today, I aim to complete my university degree, not only as a personal achievement but also as a source of pride for my family and in memory of those I lost. Earning this degree will give me the opportunity to give back to my community, use my experiences to inspire others, and create meaningful, positive change in my life and in the lives of those around me.
Why Would Donors Fund You?
I faced immense challenges but never gave up on my education or dreams. Through volunteering and earning multiple certificates, I developed skills to make a real difference. Donors’ support will empower me to complete my degree and turn my experiences into meaningful impact for my community.
How Do You Plan to Payback?
I plan to give back by using my university education to make a meaningful impact. Through my studies, I will gain the knowledge and skills needed to address real challenges in my community. My goal is to apply what I learn to create opportunities, support others, and inspire positive change, ensuring my education benefits not just me but everyone around me.
Volunteer Work/Social Capital
I actively volunteered in my community, helping children with learning, teaching literacy to older adults, and running awareness workshops for teenage girls. I also supported peers through guidance programs and participated in local initiatives to empower and uplift others.
