Syrian, from Daraa; seeking Undergraduate degree in Pharmacy and is enrolled at Lebanese International University.
My name is Ibrahim Sweidany, and I was born in Syria. During the early years of the conflict in my country, my family made the difficult decision to move to Lebanon. Growing up there, I continued my education, eventually earning my high school diploma. Now, I’m a second-year pharmacy student, pursuing my degree with the goal of making a difference in people’s lives through healthcare. The journey to this point hasn’t been easy, but it has taught me resilience, especially with the constant support of my family, who are incredibly important to me. I have four siblings, and together, we’ve learned to support one another through every challenge. Living in Lebanon and studying pharmacy have both brought me into contact with people from diverse backgrounds, expanding my perspective on the world and strengthening my commitment to my field. In the future, I hope to use my education to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others, both within my community and beyond. This journey, while challenging, has been a source of growth and inspiration for me, and I look forward to what lies ahead.

Your support will empower me to turn this vision into reality and create lasting, positive change.
How Do You Plan to Payback?
after graduating,
Asa pharmacy student, I want to give back to my community by focusing on drug development and finding treatments for chronic diseases. I plan to volunteer in local clinics to help educate patients about medication safety and proper use. I also hope to collaborate with research institutions to work on innovative solutions for serious health issues. By sharing what I learn and my passion for pharmacy, I aim to make a real difference in the health and well-being of those around me .
